Our Booking Policy
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your booking for an event, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing bookings@lbc.org.uk or calling us on 02087099978 (10am-5pm weekdays).
Retreats
Our retreats are not refundable or transferable. If you cancel your place on a shorter retreat (up to 3 days) more than a month in advance, then the amount paid minus a £50 cancellation fee will be returned to you. If you cancel your place on a longer retreat more than a month in advance, then the amount paid minus a £100 cancellation fee will be returned.
Courses
Our courses are not refundable or transferable. If you cancel your place on a course more than 7 days in advance, then the amount paid minus a £25 cancellation fee will be returned.
Weekday Yoga Classes
Our weekday yoga classes are not refundable or transferable. If you cancel your place at a weekday yoga class more than 24 hours in advance, then the amount paid minus a £2 cancellation fee will be returned.
Bookable Weekend Classes (including Yoga and PoetryEast)
Our bookable classes on weekends are not refundable or transferable. If you cancel your place at a bookable weekend class before midday on the preceding Friday, then the amount paid minus a £2 cancellation fee will be returned.
Deposits and Balance Payments
For some retreats, you can book with an initial deposit and pay the remaining balance closer to the start of the retreat. The due date of the balance will be shown when you book the place and will be detailed in a confirmation email after booking. If we do not receive the balance payment by the due date, we may remove your place on the retreat. Deposits are not refundable or transferable.
Disclaimer
We endeavour to run all the events that we publicise. However, in exceptional circumstances we may have to cancel an event - in this case we shall, of course, refund all of your payment. The London Buddhist Centre accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss to property on retreat (or during your journey to/from the retreat).

Concessions
Our concessionary rate is meant for students on a full-time course, people on a pension, people not working, people drawing state benefits and people employed in Triratna Buddhist Community TBRLs.
If money is a barrier to you booking on a retreat, you can use the concessionary rate or alternatively email or phone us directly and we would be happy to discuss other ways to help you get on retreat. We also have a bursary scheme called The Ratnasambhava Fund, which provides low cost places on introductory weekend retreats for those earning under £21,000.
