MEDITATION AND BUDDHISM Courses

Meditation is best learnt from an experienced teacher in a structured course. A meditation course is a good way of systematically exploring meditation: how to work with what happens in your mind, how to become calm and deeply absorbed.

We run courses introducing the Buddhist vision. The Buddha taught what reality is and what we need to do about it – if we want to be truly happy. On these courses, you can find out what Buddhism really is.

Our health and wellbeing courses help reduce the risk of relapsing into depression or addiction. We help those working with bereavement, chronic pain and local carers.

Buddhist Meditation Foundation Courses

Meditation may start with relaxation, but goes far beyond it - it is an art, requiring patience, openness and application. Our foundation courses provide a thorough grounding in how to work effectively with your mind, teaching how to concentrate, become less distracted, calmer and more emotionally positive.

Life with Full Attention - An intensive course in Mindfulness

Mindfulness is about living fully and vividly, neither caught up in rumination, nor losing time in distraction. This 8-week course takes you through a systematic approach to mindfulness starting with applying mindfulness in everyday life, and culminating in mindfulness of the nature of reality. We will be using Life with Full Attention as our guide to daily practice. Course price includes a copy of the book.
